Courtney LaTrell Williams, a 32-year-old African American male from Cameron, Texas, tragically died on September 27, 2017. He was fatally shot in the head with a shotgun during an altercation between his two brothers, Alvin Dejuan Melton and John Leom Melton. The incident occurred at their residence in Cameron, Texas, when John Melton threatened Alvin with a knife, prompting Alvin to retrieve a shotgun from his bedroom.
