Andrew Ferrin, a 36-year-old male, was among the victims of a tragic shooting incident in Tamarac, Florida, on February 16, 2025. The event unfolded in the early hours of the morning when authorities responded to reports of gunfire. Ferrin was found deceased inside a residence at 5888 North Plum Bay Parkway, suffering from gunshot wounds. His death was part of a larger violent episode that claimed multiple lives.
The suspect in the case, 43-year-old Nathan Gingles, was arrested and
charged with three counts of first-degree murder with a firearm. Gingles was also accused of violating a domestic violence injunction and interfering with custody. Authorities believe that the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute involving Gingles and his estranged wife, Mary Gingles, who was also killed in the attack. The suspect allegedly abducted his four-year-old daughter during the violent spree, prompting a statewide Amber Alert. The child was later found safe, and Gingles was taken into custody.
Investigators recovered a firearm from a nearby canal, which is believed to have been used in the crimes. The Broward Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the suspect’s motives and prior history of domestic violence.
