In the quiet evening of April 15, 2026, the life of 19-year-old Lamardric Anntwan Davis was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Around 9 p.m., Fort Lauderdale police responded to calls of a possible shooting in the 2500 block of Northwest 21st Street. Upon arrival, they discovered a grim scene with two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were rushed by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue to Broward Health Medical Center with
life-threatening injuries. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Lamardric Anntwan Davis succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The second victim, who has not been publicly identified, remained in critical condition at the hospital.
Lamardric was remembered as a funny, loving, and caring individual who had attended Parkway Middle School. In the wake of his death, an online memorial was created where friends and family could light a virtual candle and share memories of him.
