In the early hours of an April morning in Washington, D.C., a tragedy unfolded that would cut short the life of 55-year-old Maurice Tyner. On Saturday, April 5, 2025, at approximately 12:36 a.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 900 block of Mount Olivet Road, Northeast, following reports of a shooting.
