In the early hours of March 4, 2017, the life of 34-year-old Delonta Omar Alexander was tragically cut short in Washington, D.C. A 911 call just after 1 a.m. reported a man bleeding in the hallway of a building located in the 2700 block of Langston Place SE. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived, they found Alexander unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
