In the early morning hours of Saturday, February 1, 2025, a burst of gunfire in the parking lot of a barbecue restaurant on 12th Avenue Northwest in Decatur, Alabama, brought a tragic end to the life of 18-year-old Deshaun Labraunt Lewis.
