In the early morning hours of January 11, 2017, the life of 27-year-old Darnesha Mitchell was tragically cut short. An African-American female living in Omaha, Nebraska, Darnesha was known by her loved ones as a kind and caring individual. She worked as a cook at the Douglas County Hospital, where she dedicated her time to taking care of others. Her father, Lamont Marion, described her as a "lovely person" who never bothered anyone.
