Stephanie Marie Kirk, a 35-year-old white woman from Charlestown, Indiana, was reported missing in late March 2012. She was last seen on March 25, 2012, after leaving a bar in New Albany, Indiana, with a man she had met the previous day. Her disappearance prompted a search that ended tragically when her remains were discovered buried in the backyard of William Clyde Gibson's home in New Albany on April 27, 2012.
