Jorge Garcia, a 19-year-old from South Bend, Indiana, tragically lost his life on September 6, 2015. The events leading to his death began in the early hours of that day when Garcia and his friends left a club in South Bend. An argument ensued between Garcia and Juventino Vargas-Rodriguez, who was also at the club. Despite Garcia's attempt to walk away and continue his birthday celebration, the conflict escalated.
