Karen Lynn Chipman Twiggs, a 17-year-old Caucasian female, was tragically murdered on April 24, 1980. She and her friend, Stacey Ann Redican, also 17, were kidnapped from a shopping mall near Sacramento, California. Their bodies were later discovered in shallow graves in Limerick Canyon, Nevada. The autopsy revealed that both victims suffered violent deaths caused by multiple blows to the head with a hammer or a similar blunt object.
