Melinda Davis, a 57-year-old woman from Sacramento, California, tragically lost her life on April 3, 2022, in a mass shooting that occurred in downtown Sacramento. Davis, who had been experiencing homelessness for over a decade, was one of six victims killed in what has been described as the city's worst mass shooting in modern history.
