This incident occurred during a violent robbery targeting drug dealers, orchestrated by Larry Davis and his accomplices. Alongside Rodriguez, three other Hispanic males—Angel Castro, 35; Jesus Perez, 38; and Hector Figueroa Hernandez, 34—were also murdered under similar circumstances.
