Tommie Dennis, a Black/African American woman from Chicago, became one of the victims in a long-running series of killings that terrorized the Englewood area during the 1990s. Her death was eventually attributed to Andre Crawford, a Chicago resident whose crimes were uncovered after investigators began connecting a succession of homicides through DNA evidence and similarities in the circumstances surrounding the victims.
