Sherell Brown, a 35-year-old woman, was fatally shot in the Roseland area of Chicago. The incident occurred on December 25, 2023, when Brown was found unresponsive behind a home in the first block of East 110th Street around noon.
Brown was taken to Trinity Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. An autopsy conducted by the Cook County medical examiner’s office revealed that she died from a gunshot wound to the back, and her death was ruled a homicide.
