On a Tuesday afternoon in Chicago, the life of 34-year-old Shawnquanice Q. Kimbrough was tragically cut short. On February 3, 2026, Kimbrough was discovered in her vehicle on the third floor of a parking garage on the University of Illinois Chicago medical campus, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head. She was at the Illinois Medical District for an appointment.
