On March 3, 2023, in Houston, Texas, 16-year-old Alexander Conroy "Bunny" Sherrard and his mother, 55-year-old Laura Marie "Rabbit" Sherrard, were tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident. Laura Sherrard dialed 911, and while the dispatcher was on the line, gunshots were heard. Upon arrival, police found Laura, Alexander, and a man in his 60s deceased from gunshot wounds.

The man involved was identified as Paul Rubin, 64, who was Laura's husband. Authorities determined that Rubin ...
