On November 5, 2024, at approximately 6:45 p.m., a tragic shooting occurred at the Tierra Del Sol Apartments, located at 8000 Cook Road in Houston, Texas. The incident resulted in the deaths of three individuals: Eddie Gomez, 17; Jonathan Hernandez, 17; and Juan Trejo Sandoval, 23. Houston Police Department (HPD) officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Gomez and Hernandez unresponsive in the complex's laundry room, both having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
