Andres Chan, a 61-year-old Guatemalan man, was tragically killed on January 11, 2020, in Southwest Houston, Texas. He was walking to a grocery store with his son, Juan, when two suspects approached them. The suspects first robbed Juan and then turned their attention to Andres. When Andres resisted and begged them not to take his wallet, he was shot at point-blank range in the head. He died in front of his son.
