On the evening of June 15, 2022, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Harris County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of Dell Dale Street in east Harris County. Upon arrival, they discovered 42-year-old David Martinez, a Hispanic male, lying on the road with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services transported him to Ben Taub Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
