Tyrell Jones, a 27-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was tragically killed in the early morning hours of January 5, 2014. At approximately 3:17 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a call in the 5800 block of North Marshall Street, where they discovered Tyrell lying on the sidewalk. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, and despite the rapid response of emergency medical personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
