Quoc Hieu “Jake” Nguyen, 28, male, Asian, was a Marine Corps veteran working as a rideshare driver when he was found shot to death late on September 4, 2025, along the 13700 block of Lakewood Forest Drive in northwest Harris County near Houston. Deputies initially responded to a report of a possible hit-and-run around 11 p.m., but quickly realized he had been killed by gunfire and pronounced him dead at the scene.
