On May 6, 2024, at approximately 5:25 p.m., 28-year-old Damien Harris was fatally shot in the parking lot at 945 West Little York Road in Houston, Texas. Responding officers from the Houston Police Department (HPD) found Harris unresponsive, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
