On October 2, 2011, 30-year-old Victor Manuel Molinares was found critically injured on the side of the road in southwest Houston. Around 2:15 a.m., witnesses discovered him lying in the 6600 block of Ashcroft and promptly contacted emergency services. Upon arrival, Houston police officers observed that Molinares had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
