Gerald Peavy, a 48-year-old man from Houston, Texas, tragically died on January 26, 2021, due to an accidental shooting at his home in northwest Harris County. The incident occurred when a house guest, Norez Hargrove, was handling a firearm in the living room. Hargrove, who was 50 years old, assumed the gun was not loaded and pulled the trigger, causing the firearm to discharge.
