On March 22, 2019, Jacorey Dewayne Johnson, a 19-year-old Black male from Houston, Texas, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. near the intersection of Streamside Drive and Gulf Bank Road in northwest Houston. According to reports, a suspect approached Jacorey and another 18-year-old male from behind as they were walking down the street.
