Markedis Deshun Briars, a 23-year-old male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on July 28, 2018. The young man, who was African American, was fatally shot in the 4300 block of Crescent Park Drive in southeast Memphis. The incident occurred on a Saturday afternoon, and the Memphis Police Department swiftly launched an investigation into the matter.
