Shawn Anthony Forbes, aged 27, tragically lost his life on December 31, 2016, in Kissimmee, Florida. Forbes was involved in a drug deal that turned violent. He had arranged to meet Christina Mazzucco and Chayanne Arzuaga-Auletta at Blossom Park Villas to sell them drugs. During the encounter, a fight broke out, leading to Forbes being shot by Auletta.
Following the altercation, Forbes' vehicle was stolen and later found hidden in a wooded area approximately five miles away from the scene.
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into the incident, which led to the arrest of both Mazzucco and Auletta. Mazzucco was charged with murder, arson, and grand theft auto, while Auletta faced charges of murder, arson, grand theft auto, possession of controlled substances without a prescription, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, and possession and use of drug paraphernalia. The arrests were made after detectives executed a search warrant, uncovering evidence that linked the suspects to the crime.
