On February 23, 2022, at approximately 12:45 a.m., deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a shooting in the Indian Pointe Circle area of Kissimmee, Florida. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 18-year-old Jommil Jave Baez-Quinones. The young man had been fatally shot, and his death was immediately classified as a homicide.
