On April 2, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the area of Birmingham Drive in Kissimmee, Florida, resulting in the death of 34-year-old Connell Oliver Adman. The incident stemmed from a verbal argument between Adman and his neighbor, Raymond Gabriel Ventura.
When deputies responded to the scene around 10:30 a.m., they found Adman shot multiple times in the roadway. Despite medical efforts, Adman later died at the hospital.

Raymond Gabriel Ventura was arrested and charged with premeditated murder with a firearm, discharging a firearm in public, and carrying a concealed firearm during the commission of a felony. Ventura had been taken into custody on the same day as the shooting and was also facing charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon from an incident two days prior.
Ventura remains in custody at the Osceola County Jail without bond. The local community expressed shock at the incident, noting that it was the first shooting they could recall in the neighborhood, which is generally quiet and family-oriented.
