On January 16, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in Kissimmee, Florida, resulting in the death of Bekzod Nishonboev, a 31-year-old man from Uzbekistan who was in the United States on a work visa that had expired in March 2022. The incident took place at a residence on Arisha Drive, near the intersection of Poinciana Boulevard and Oren Brown Road.
