Dorothy Holmes, a 43-year-old African-American woman, was tragically murdered on October 19, 1975, in Detroit, Michigan. Her death was part of a series of homicides attributed to an unidentified serial killer known as the "Bigfoot Killer" or "The Cass Ripper."
