On May 5, 2024, a tragic shooting incident occurred in Southwest Detroit, resulting in the death of Hollie Stoops, a 41-year-old woman from Lincoln Park. The incident took place at approximately 2 p.m. in a vacant house located in the 3800 block of 33rd Street, near Michigan Avenue.
