Aja Booth, a 25-year-old woman from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost her life on October 3, 2022. Aja was visiting her brother's house on Appoline Street when a random shot was fired through the kitchen window, striking her in the chest. She was doing the dishes and conversing with her brother when the incident occurred. Despite her brother's immediate efforts to help, Aja succumbed to her injuries and died in his arms at 7:55 p.m. that evening^1^.
