In the early morning hours of April 19, 2026, a tragic series of events unfolded at a Sunoco gas station on the west side of Detroit, culminating in the death of 24-year-old Jasmine Sheeler. The incident, which also claimed the lives of her 25-year-old brother, Trevor Sheeler, and her 24-year-old boyfriend, Lester Owens III, stemmed from an earlier car crash and a subsequent altercation.
