Siraquana Cotton, a 25-year-old woman from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost her life on June 22, 2006, in a harrowing incident of domestic violence. Cotton had previously obtained a protection order against her estranged boyfriend, Charles "Eastwood" Epperson, due to his threats and history of violence. Despite the order, Epperson forcibly entered Cotton's home on Promenade Street, where she was styling her sister's hair.
