Constable Carlos C. Carpio, aged 25, was a male of Hispanic ethnicity who served in the El Paso County Constable's Office - Precinct 3, Texas. On December 1, 1910, he sustained a gunshot wound while attempting to arrest a subject in Socorro, Texas. During the struggle, Constable Carpio's .45 caliber handgun discharged, and he was struck in the side. He succumbed to his injuries three days later, on December 4, 1910.
