Marco Moncada, a 46-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on February 17, 2017, in El Paso, Texas. The circumstances surrounding his death involved a violent altercation in the backyard of a home on Pikes Peak Drive. According to police records, Marco Moncada was found holding a knife in his hand after being shot multiple times by John Charles Casto, a 45-year-old resident of the home. Casto claimed that he acted in self-defense after Moncada attacked him with the knife.
