Oscar Gutierrez, a 35-year-old Hispanic male from El Paso, Texas, tragically lost his life on October 19, 1996. He was one of the victims of a violent shooting at the Tejano-style El Kumbala nightclub. The incident occurred when gunmen burst into the club and opened fire on the patrons, resulting in the deaths of five individuals, including Oscar Gutierrez, and leaving two others wounded.
