Andre Pablo Anchondo, a 24-year-old Hispanic male from El Paso, Texas, tragically lost his life on August 3, 2019. He was one of the victims of the mass shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, which resulted in the deaths of 23 people and injured many others. Andre and his wife, Jordan Anchondo, were shopping with their 2-month-old son, Paul, when the gunman opened fire. In an act of heroism, Andre and Jordan shielded their son from the bullets, sacrificing their own lives to protect him.
