On July 7, 2024, at approximately 3:00 a.m., El Paso Police Department officers responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress in the 200 block of South Glenwood Street in the Lower Valley area of El Paso, Texas. Upon arrival, officers discovered 29-year-old Ivan Dario Bello Espitia suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical attention, Espitia succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
