Ernest Walter Walker, a 35-year-old male of American ethnicity, was a Federal Prohibition Agent with the Internal Revenue Service - Prohibition Unit. On March 5, 1921, Walker was involved in a shootout in El Paso, Texas, while attempting to apprehend smugglers who were moving liquor across the border. During the confrontation, Walker was shot in the abdomen and was taken to a local hotel for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries three days later.
