On January 28, 2024, 25-year-old Efrain Martinez was fatally shot in East El Paso, Texas. The incident occurred around 5:17 a.m. in the 1900 block of Pointe East, near the intersection of Montwood and Saul Kleinfeld Drive. Upon arrival, officers found Martinez unresponsive; he was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
