David Gomez, a 38-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on November 22, 2014, in El Paso, Texas. Gomez was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting outside a home on Mirasol Drive. The incident was part of an ongoing conflict between two rival gangs, the Chuco Tango and the Barrio Azteca. Gomez, a member of the Barrio Azteca, was targeted because he was collecting "street taxes" on drugs sold by members of the Chuco Tango.
