Jeffrey Burkes

In the winter of 2013, a Black / African American man named Jeffrey Burkes Jr. tragically lost his life at the age of 28. On the evening of December 20th, in Birmingham, Alabama, Burkes was fatally wounded by gunfire. The incident occurred in the West End neighborhood of the city, on Alabama Avenue.
