Christopher Ignacio Chapa, a 27-year-old Hispanic male from Galveston, Texas, tragically died on June 16, 2014. He was found dead in his home with a gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred during an argument with his girlfriend, Claudia Kristine Esquivel, who was a recent graduate of Galveston College's Law Enforcement Academy. Esquivel was arrested and charged with Chapa's murder shortly after the incident.
