Montrell D'Wayne Grimes, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 28, 2020, in Galveston, Texas. Montrell was a beloved member of his community, known for his involvement in local sports and his dedication to his studies. He attended schools in the Galveston Independent School District and was a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church.
