On August 26, 2022, Coren Lovings, a 32-year-old male from Galveston, Texas, tragically lost his life in a double shooting incident. The incident occurred just before midnight near the intersection of 68th Street and Furlong Way. According to reports, police responded to multiple "shots fired" calls and found two victims, identified as Coren Lovings and Evariste Soulaire, 31, both from Galveston.
