Orestes "West" Garza, a 51-year-old Hispanic man, tragically died on February 7, 2016, in Lubbock, Texas. Garza was fatally shot outside St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church after attending Sunday mass. His death was the result of a violent altercation involving his ex-wife's new partner, Pete Garcia Jr.
