On February 11, 2023, at approximately 3:01 a.m., Lubbock Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1300 block of 35th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 39-year-old Clifton Jermaine Holman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was promptly transported to University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased. The location of the incident was identified as an illegal after-hours club, suggesting that an altercation at the venue preceded the shooting. ...
