Scottie McCoy, a 44-year-old man from Lubbock, Texas, tragically passed away on August 14, 2014. He and his wife, Monica McCoy, 36, were involved in a shooting incident at their home in the 4800 block of Detroit Avenue in Central Lubbock. The incident was determined to be a murder-suicide. Scottie McCoy was pronounced dead at University Medical Center, while Monica McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene.
